Ann Millison Luckett
Ann Millison Luckett, 78, passed away on Oct. 13, 2017, at her daughter’s home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born May 30, 1939, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her daughter Alexa Maxine Luckett, father Clark Millison and mother Maxine Millison.
She is survived by daughters Laura (Jim) Luckett-Shwerin of Colorado and Erika (Lisa) Luckett of Ohio, sons Marc (Whitney) Luckett of Colorado and Palo (Emma) Luckett of Anahola, and grandchildren Maxine, AnaMai, Holland, Enzo and Britton of Colorado.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, Nov. 9, at the Kilauea Parish Hall. The memorial service is 3 to 4 p.m. The family suggests aloha attire.
Andres Rogelio Vallesteros Cadiente Sr.
Andres Rogelio Vallesteros Cadiente Sr. of Hanamaulu passed away in Texas on Sept. 21, 2017, at the age of 65. He was born in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, on Nov. 21, 1951, and retired from Lihue Plantation Company as a mill operator.
He was preceded in death by brother Federico Cadiente Jr. and granddaughter Julieanna Rae Alfano.
He is survived by wife Eden E. Cadiente, children Margaret Ann (Renato) Hammond, Ferdinand (Kristel Joy) Cadiente, Maria (Levi) Berton, Andres Rogelio Cadiente Jr. and Candice (Dimitri) Hernandez, grandchildren Aaliyah Wehilani Cadiente-Numazawa, Catira Cadiente-Berton, Kristofer Baggay Cadiente, Haven Koa Hernandez, Luke Giovanni Hernandez and Titus Lee John Berton, siblings Erlinda (Prisco) Ancheta, Gorgonia (Rodger) Barr, Merlinda (Manny) Catbagan, Corazon (Elsa) Cadiente, Fortunato (Aida) Cadiente, Roberto (Lydia) Cadiente, Dennis (Eileen) Cadiente and Warlito (Gina) Cadiente, and numerous nieces, nephews
and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, Nov. 6, at Aloha Church, with viewing from 10 a.m. and services celebrated at noon. Burial will follow at Lihue Cemetery.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the family with

Godfrey Manoi Pabo
Godfrey Manoi Pabo of Lihue passed away in Wilcox Medical Center on Oct. 31, 2017, at the age of 62. He was born in Lihue on March 11, 1955, and was a
carpenter.
He was preceded in death by parents Teodoro and Agnes Pabo.
He is survived by wife Rhonda Pabo, son Kyle Pabo, daughters Chelsea Pabo and Shannon Pabo, grandsons Titan Leong and Kaiea Kelley, brothers Teddy (Indrany) Pabo, Daynes Pabo and Howard Pabo, sisters Liane (Wayne) Rivera and Holly (Daniel) Fajardo, and numerous nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Private services were held. Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Yutaka Arakaki
Yutaka Arakaki, 92, of Kalaheo, passed away on Oct. 27, 2017, at his home in Kalaheo.
Born on May 12, 1925, in Kalaheo, he was a retired electronics technician, and also served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by parents Hotsu and Kama Arakaki, and siblings Kameko Ishihara, Hoyei Arakaki, Yuriko Suehiro and Natsue Go.
He is survived by wife Momoe Vicky Arakaki of Kalaheo, sons Steven M. (Lynn) Arakaki of Oahu and Lester H. (Donna Chavez) Arakaki of New Mexico, granddaughter Kelsey Arakaki of Oahu, brothers Akio Arakaki of Kauai and Kenji Arakaki of Oahu, sisters Fumiko Yoshida of Kauai and Asako Yamashiro of Oahu, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, Nov. 5, at Kalaheo Missionary Church from 4 p.m., where services will be celebrated at 5 p.m.
The family suggests casual attire and requests that flowers be omitted.
Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with

Leon Edward Ellis
Leon Edward Ellis passed away on Oct. 21, 2017, at the age of 75. He was born on Aug. 6, 1942, in Richmond, California.
He grew up in Forestville, California, where he went to school and helped his father build houses. After graduation, he moved to the Bay Area with his high school friends and got his electrician’s license. He became the head electrician for Green Giant Cannery and later moved to Watsonville, California. He then became a business agent with Teamsters Union 912, and later went on to become its president. Following a two-year Watsonville Cannery strike, he sold his house in Corallites, Califorinia, and cut all his suits into shorts, moving to Kauai in 1988.
He continued his building job on island, and would travel back and forth to California to help his daughter Cindy and his grandchildren Ellis and Bridgett with their grandpa “to-do list.” He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Nobue Yasutake Igarashi
Nobue Yasutake Igarashi of Lihue passed away in Wilcox Medical Center on Nov. 1, 2017, at the age of 87. She was born on Kauai on Nov. 7, 1929, and retired as a customer service representative with First Interstate Bank.
She was preceded in death by husbands Susumu Yasutake and Shoichi Igarashi, and parents Takeshige and Chiyo Muneno.
She is survived by children Beverly (Michael) Nagano of Lihue, Valerie (Alan) Silva of Lihue, Lana Corregedore of Lihue, Lee Yasutake of Lihue, Daryl (Jacqueline) Yasutake of Kapaa, Dewey (Saowapha) Yasutake of Oahu, Lisa (Warren) Koga of Lihue, daughter-in-law Sherri Yasutake, 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, sister Shinae (Roy) Sakai of Oahu, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, at Lihue Baptist Church, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. and services beginning at 10:30 a.m. The family suggests casual attire and graciously requests no flowers.
Private inurnment services will be held at Kauai Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

Renti Cruz
Daniel Gil Renti Cruz, 53, of Waianae, Oahu, passed away on Oct. 9, 2017.
He was born on June 15, 1964, in Lihue.
He was a supervisor for Kokua Villa Inc. at Waianea, a day-care facility for adults with intellectual disabilities.
He was preceded in death by wife Charlotte Idao Renti Cruz and father William A. Renti Cruz.
He is survived by mother Ercelly S. Renti Cruz, sisters Diana Honjiyo and Dena M. Renti Cruz, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Nov. 18 at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
Nuuanu Memorial Park and Mortuary in Honolulu and Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with the arrangements.
