LIHUE — The Kauai Police Activities League, or K-PAL, announces that registration for the 2025 flag football season is now open.
Registration is free of charge, and families can sign up or register online at the K-PAL website at www.kauaipal.org. Registration will close on April 1.
The K-PAL flag football program is open to school-aged youth from kindergarten through high school seniors. Practice for the 2025 season will start on May 1. The games will play on Saturdays at the auxiliary (more commonly known as the soccer) field adjacent to Vidinha Stadium. Games will start in June and will run through mid-July.
Additionally, K-PAL is seeking volunteer coaches to join the team. If an individual is passionate about football and wants to make a difference in the lives of Kauai youth, K-PAL invites those individuals to visit the K-PAL website and complete the Coach/Volunteer Form.
K-PAL is dedicated to providing an atmosphere that motivates youth to lead drug-free lives, and help them reach their full potential by providing positive activities, mentorship, and most importantly, fun.
During 2024, K-PAL engaged more than 1,100 youth through its various sports programs, including flag football, boxing and wrestling.
