The Ocean Safety Bureau lifeguards’ words were not in vain as no one mistakenly stepped on, or tripped over all the honu that came ashore to rest while Santa beached his four-man safely away from the honu.
Over at the Kalapaki Beach (mahalo, Kaupena Kinimaka), Santa came early … must be because Santa and his paddling elves got to ride in Chris Kauwe’s new double-hulled craft from the Big Island, Mrs. Claus said.

Next up, Barbara Gusman said the resort partners with the Kauai Made program for its craft fair on Friday (it’s the last Friday of the month) from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
