LIHUE — Kauai Hospice is offering three free candle lighting memorial services in December, with the first one being held on Monday.
Kauai Hospice invites anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one, regardless of when that death occurred, to attend any of the annual memorials and light a candle in memory of them.
The first candle lighting will be Monday at the Immaculate Conception Church, located at 4453 Kapaia Road, Lihue, from 6 to 7 p.m.
On Dec. 5, the candle lighting memorial will take place at the Hanapepe Hawaiian Congregational Church located at 3815 Hanapepe Road. The service will take place from 6 to 7 p.m.
The third service will be held on Dec. 10 at the Saint Sylvester Catholic Church, located at 2390 Kolo Road in Kilauea, from 6 to 7 p.m.
There is no fee to attend and participate in any or all of the candle lighting memorials.
