KEKAHA — Road closures have been scheduled for the Westside beginning early next week.
The Department of Public Works (DPW) and its contractor, Maui Kupono Builders, have announced a one-lane closure for portions of Kekaha effective Monday through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The following roads are scheduled to be affected: Aukuu Road, Akepa Road, and Mamo Road.
Road closures are necessary to allow for road resurfacing work to begin. All work is weather permitting.
Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic. Motorists are advised to allow extra time to reach their destination.
Area residents will be allowed partial access through the closure and are reminded that there will be no parking allowed in the work zones.
