The curtain rises at 3 p.m. at the show where theater goers get special admission when accompanied by a contribution of “shelf-stable” food or cash.

Edwin Vea of The Beach House restaurant said the monthly craft fair takes place on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. where the vendors are ready with their respective holiday gift offerings. Shop early for parking and a reminder that Hoona Road is one-way, exiting to the Prince Kuhio Park.
St. Michael’s and All Angels Church hosts its annual holiday craft fair and bake sale on Saturday from 9 a.m. at the church located next door to the Lihue Public Library (they’re normally closed on Saturdays) and across Hardy Street from the Elsie Wilcox Elementary School.
The Kauai Handworks fair (it’s one of the few fairs that offer works by Kauai artists since Carol Yotsuda of the Garden Island Arts Council and Eve Solomon were teachers at Wilcox School) started by teachers at the Wilcox School is coming up at the end of November at the Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School cafeteria.
Okay, ‘nuff said … time to learn how to be healthy with Roy Nishida, the East Kauai Lions Club (remember when Angel Acorda used to cook up all that good fish?), the Department of Health, Hoola Lahui Hawaii and the Kauai Community College Nursing Department at the Kauai Community College Fine Arts Auditorium starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
