Personnel with the Hanalei Fire Station, along with Rescue 3 on board Air 1 and medics with American Medical Response (AMR) all responded to the incident.
First responders arrived on the scene at noon and discovered a Hawaii Island female at the Kalalau Beach landing zone. The visitor was extracted and transported to the Princeville Airport where AMR medics treated her before she was transported to Wilcox Medical Center in Lihue.
