Those tomatoes were literally jumping off the table … more than 50 bags were sold with more than an hour remaining in the market, and Tiffany said if you want the salsa, you need to visit them at Hanapepe Art Night where if you’re lucky, you get to meet some of the choir members.
Angela has been enjoying her visit from Alabama and said she needs to come to the Pau Hana Market next Monday when the free locally-grown pumpkins are given away, first-come, first-served, and one per child starting at 3 p.m. in cooperation with the Harvest Festival.
More pumpkins will be distributed on Friday when The Shops at Kukuiula, in celebration of the Harvest Festival, will be passing out free pumpkins (again, one per child, first-come, first-served) at the Palm Court area from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., followed by the free movie night (it’s the Minions and Despicable Me 4!) with complimentary snacks and refreshments.
And, even more pumpkins roll out on Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. at Grove Farm Market courtesy of the Harvest Festival.
If you’re looking for excitement, The Kauai Philippine Cultural Center presents the inaugural Kauai Filipino American History Month (it’s an admission event with children 12 years old and under being admitted for free) on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
