Kapi‘olani nurses ratify new 3-year contract

Craig T. Kojima / Star-Advertiser Kapi‘olani nurses were locked out after arriving for their 7 a.m. shift on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, a day after a one day work stoppage. Kapi‘olani and the nurses have since agreed to a new labor contract.

The union nurses at Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children on Wednesday ratified a new, three-year contract that was ironed out after more than a year of negotiations with management.
