That finish was nearly five minutes better than 39-Wailea Kaua‘i 86C team that stopped the clocks at 4:43:26.90. The Wailea team was just nine seconds faster than the third place overall team, 12-Kaiola Tere Moana 85M (they started in the Third Start as opposed to the first two winners that started in the race’s Second Start) that stopped the clocks at 4:43:35.90.
The first finishing team from the First Start belonged to 70-NaMolokama Lani Ku‘uwa‘a 87L, which crossed the finish line at 5:31.26.00, about eight minutes ahead of 19-Waikiki Yacht Club Kawehewehe 648 (5:39.34.60).
Top NaOpio Traditional team honors went to Niumalu NaOpio Prince 80C (6:03:21.80), and top NaOpio Unlimited went to 19-Waikiki Yacht Club Kawehewehe 648 (5:39:34.60).
