NAWILIWILI — Timbers Resort, for the third year, awarded six $1,000 Hokuala Kaua‘i Scholarships to six seniors who graduated from Kaua‘i schools.
The scholarships, which are intended to help the students with their college undergraduate pursuits, were presented to the students during a celebratory luncheon on July 13 at Timbers’ signature dining concept Hualani’s, where students and parents were invited to dine with the resort’s leadership community.
“Here at Hokuala, we are committed to supporting our extended ‘ohana across Kaua‘i, especially the next generation of kama‘aina charged with leading the community in the future,” said Chris Gampon, general manager at Timbers Kaua‘i at Hokuala.
“We are deeply honored to celebrate this year’s scholarship participants, and extend our gratitude for all the applicants who submitted to this year’s scholarship program. It is an honor to support these six outstanding high school graduates as they embark on their respective educational journeys.”
