Larry Feinstein said he can’t make the Kalena Park community workday because he’ll be at the Poke Fest taking place at Koloa Landing Resort.
Bev Brody of Get Fit Kaua‘i is leading the Kalena Park community workday on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m (ends just in time for Bikes on Rice, and the opening of the Downtown Lihu‘e Night Market). According to Bev’s text, volunteers will be planting trees, painting the inside of the bathrooms and doing general park cleanup. Larry said this is a really big deal because Kalena Park has been “mobbed” every day since the reopening with the new play structure and the courts are busy with either youth basketball or pickleball.
