Thomas-Jay “TJ” Shigemoto celebrates earning his Executive Master’s of Business Administration, or MBA degree, from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa Shidler School of Business on May 11, 2024. TJ is currently the Senior Account Executive with Hawai‘i Gas and works part time as a server at Lilikoi’s restaurant in Nawiliwili. Maintaining a 3.88 GPA on the road to his MBA, TJ got help through a Contractors Association of Kaua‘i scholarship.

I am so proud of our Ni‘ihau students and I look forward to seeing the contributions they will make to Hawai‘i.”
