Tickets are $5 for general admission and $1 for keiki ages 2 through Grade 5. Tickets are available at the door of the Kalaheo School auditorium, or available online at www.tinyurl;.com/KalaheoPA.
“Madagascar – A Musical Adventure Jr.” opens for a two-weekend run starting Friday and Saturday with a 7 p.m. curtain time. The musical continues next Friday and Saturday — perfect for a Mother’s Day family night — with the same 7 p.m. curtain call.
Madagascar is based from the blockbuster DreamWorks film and is described as an adventure musical featuring the characters from the film, including the plotting penguins and favorite “crack-a-lackin’” friends as they escape from their home in the New York Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the crazy world of King Julien’s Madagascar.
The Kalaheo School Drama Club cast includes 34 Kalaheo School students from grades 3 through 5, and is under direction from Nely Madayag.
