Ernest E. Segismundo, Sr.
Ernest E. Segismundo, Sr. of Lihu‘e, passed away on April 10, 2024, at Kaua‘i Care Center at the age of 86. He was born on Nov. 25, 1937, in the Philippines. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Navy.
Ernest is survived by his sons Ernesto Segismundo, Jr. of Brea, California, Relly Segismundo (Marivic) of Kaua‘i, daughters Penchie Cabasag of Kaua‘i, Jannette S. Tacsiat of Kaua‘i, Joann S. Sales (Clarence) of Kaua‘i, grandchildren Valerie Aficial-Yoza (Darrell), Ginno Jay Tacsiat, Amalya J. Sales (Coby Lawrence), Isaiah W. Sales, Ralph Segismundo, Mikhaela Segismundo, 1 great-grandchild, 1 brother, 3 sisters, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, at the Kaua‘i Veterans Center. The visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. With a celebration of life from 11 a.m. to noon. The family request casual or aloha attire and flowers are welcome.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family.
