KAPA‘A — The first 100 people will receive a meal plate prepared by Mom’s Filipino Comfort Food during the grand opening celebration of the Garden Island Federal Credit Union, Kapa‘a Branch on Friday, starting at 11 a.m., said Myrvie Buster, the credit union’s member services director.
KAPA‘A — The first 100 people will receive a meal plate prepared by Mom’s Filipino Comfort Food during the grand opening celebration of the Garden Island Federal Credit Union, Kapa‘a Branch on Friday, starting at 11 a.m., said Myrvie Buster, the credit union’s member services director.
Each plate will include pancit, two pieces of pork skewers, three pieces of vegetable lumpia and rice during the celebration time of 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the new branch that is located in the Kapa‘a Shopping Center.
“We’ll also have representatives from Child & Family Service on-site to promote their services, and we’ll have Spin the Wheel for prizes,” Buster said. “GIFCU members who stop in will receive a gift while supplies last.”
The new Kapa‘a Branch will be open Mondays through Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
During the grand opening, the credit union is offering a $300 bonus, with restrictions, for new checking accounts, a Auto Refinance Special with rates as low as 3.000 annual percentage rate, and a Friday-only 6.00 annual percentage yield six month new money certificate.
