Kathleen Marie Casaubon
Kathleen Marie Casaubon, of Kapa‘a, Hawai‘i, passed away Dec. 12, 2023, at age 62.
Kathy’s life was a tapestry of her love of family and friends; her sense of humor and infectious laugh, her artistic flair; and with tenacity and the guidance of family, friends, and the Kaua‘i professional community, overcame challenges only a few could imagine. Her life in Hawai‘i was a perfect match as she embraced and embodied the Aloha Spirit.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Stephen ‘Steve’ Patrick Ruiz
Stephen “Steve” Patrick Ruiz, of Kalaheo, passed away on Feb. 24, 2024, at the age of 55. He was born in Livermore, California. He was a branch manager for Odem Corporation, previously known as Anheuser-Busch and served in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by wife Karen Ruiz, sons Bradley Ruiz, Ryan Ruiz, Noah Ruiz, daughter Marissa (Christopher) Honorato, parents Stephen and Yvonne Ruiz, brothers Keith (Marlene) Ruiz, John (Chelsea) Ruiz, David (Hazel) Ruiz, sister Melissa Bukoski, two grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Koloa. Visitation begins at 8:30 a.m. and Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. A private burial will be held.
Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Vincent Le Roy Cosner
Vincent Le Roy Cosner, 75, of Lihu‘e, passed away on Feb. 14, 2024, at his residence. He was born on May 20, 1948, in Honolulu, Hawai‘i.
He is survived by brother Garrett (Mopsie) Cosner, sister Rita (Jim) Winkates, sons Paul (Edie) Cosner, Joseph (Teresa) Cosner, grandchildren Blaze, Alissa, Alia, Cruz and Duke.
He was predeceased by parents Virgil Raymond Cosner Jr. and Rose Ligier Awa Cosner and wife Lynne Cosner.
Private services were held by the family.

Rogelyn Rita Casil
Rogelyn Rita Casil, 53, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, passed away on Feb. 16, 2024, at The Queen’s Medical Center, West O’ahu. She was born on Nov. 7, 1970, in Honolulu.
She was preceded in death by mother Genoviva “Rita” Saclot, father Roger Tangcay Ramos and sister Darlene Nazarino.
She is survived by husband Kenneth Kealoha Casil Jr., daughter Kenna-Seanne K. Casil, sons Kenson K. Casil, Kenneth Kealoha Casil III, sister Tita Llanos Abad, brothers Roger Ramos, Topper Llanos, Leroy Llanos, Michael Llanos and brother-in-law Peter Nazarino.
A service is Friday, May 31, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Church in Ewa Villages, O‘ahu. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. followed by service at 11 a.m.
