Marsha Ann Mullens
Marsha Ann Mullens, of Kekaha, passed away on Feb. 16, 2024, at the age of 78. She was born on Dec. 28, 1945, in Springfield, Missouri. She was a Special Needs Teachers Assistant.
She was preceded in death by father Howard Simpson Sharp, mother Mary ElNora Sharp and ex-husband James Gordon Mullens.
She is survived by son Mark James Mullens of Hermosa Beach, California, daughter Micah Rochelle Finnila (Bruce Charles) of Kekaha, grandchild Kenda Grace Finnila of Kekaha, sister Mary Lee Brisco (Craig) of Orange, California and numerous cousins.
A private service will be held.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ernesto Arias
Ernesto Arias, of Hanama‘ulu, passed away peacefully at his home on Feb. 16, 2024. He was born in Abra, Philippines, on April 28, 1941, where he worked on his own rice farm.
He was preceded in passing by parents Enoc and Esperanza Arias, brother Romy Barbero and sister Remedios Vasquez.
Ernesto is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Cleotilde Arias, children Crisanta (Jose) Penullar, Leonora (Marvin) Giam, Victorino (Marites) Arias, Irma Arias, Elma (Reynaldo) Buhain, Gracelle (Julius) Llego, siblings Esther Gandeza, Federico (Luz) Barbero, Teresita (Vene) Ballestra, Josephine Sariana, Elizabeth Barbero and 13 grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be announced in the future.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
