LIHU‘E — Tickets for The Zonta Club of Kaua‘i Foundation Red Carpet Gala are now available online.
Doors to the Puhi Theatrical Warehouse, known affectionately as the “black box theater in Puhi,” open at 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 21 with the special live-theater performance of “Over the River and Through the Woods” by the Kaua‘i Community Players starting at 7 p.m.
The play is by Joe Dipetro and directed by Arnold Meister, a Kaua‘i Museum Living Treasure.
The Red Carpet Gala is a collaborative effort between the Zonta Club of Kaua‘i, and the Kaua‘i Community Players where a portion of the special presentation benefits the Zonta Club Scholarship Fund.
Zonta Club organizers of the Red Carpet Gala encourage patrons “to bring money” to enjoy the number of special baked goods and contributed offerings by local supporting groups to benefit the foundation’s scholarships, which are presented to Kaua‘i graduating high school seniors.
“Over the River and Through the Woods,” presented by the Kaua‘i Community Players opened on Feb. 16 and is offered on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Puhi Theatrical Warehouse Theater through March 3.
Curtain times on Thursday and Saturday are 7 p.m. Sunday matinee starts at 4 p.m. Tickets for the regular performances are available at www.kauaicommunityplayers.org that announces its next performances of “Six Degrees of Separation” from March 29 through April 14.
