PRINCEVILLE — The Hawai‘i State Public Library System announced on Monday that a small pop-up location for the Princeville Public Library will open on Feb. 1 in the library’s parking lot.
The pop-up location will open to serve Princeville Library’s patrons during the time the library is closed for renovation work, which is scheduled to be completed by October 2024. The project cost is estimated at $7 million.
The pop-up location will be open from Tuesday through Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m., and from 1 to 4 p.m. It will be closed on state holidays.
Library patrons may browse and borrow from a small collection of materials, pick up items on hold, returned borrowed materials and access limited Wi-Fi service. No book donations will be accepted while the project is underway.
