Tirunathan ‘Tiru’ Sadasivan
Tirunathan “Tiru” Sadasivan, 69, of Lihu‘e, passed away in Lihu‘e on Nov. 12, 2023. He was born in California on May 17, 1954, and was a Master of Tai Chi with Aloha Tai Chi.
Tiru is survived by his partner of 43 years, Gana Maheshwaran, siblings Ronny, Debbie, Nancy, Wanda, Wendy, numerous friends, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services will be held by family with scattering of ashes to follow.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Clemente Sagucio Agas
Clemente Sagucio Agas passed away on Oct. 18, 2023, in Kapa‘a, at the age of 81. He was born on Nov. 23, 1941, in Bacarra, Philippines. He was a kitchen steward.
He was preceded in death by father Santiago Agas, mother Eufemia Agas, son Eloy Agas, brothers Elias Agas, Manuel Agas and sister Teodora Esteban.
He is survived by wife Estrella Agas, daughters Precy (Ernesto) Barroga, Violeta (Cesar) Bongcayao, Judith (Alex) Cabulisan, sons Samuel (Christy) Agas, Jeffrey (Jenelle) Agas, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lihu‘e. Visitation begins at 8:30 a.m., Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m., and burial will follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.

Paul Andrew Banasihan Sr.
Paul Andrew Banasihan Sr., of Waimea, passed away on Nov. 9, 2023, in Waimea at the age of 71. He was born on Nov. 7, 1952, in Lihu‘e. He was an Auto Skills Attendant & Welder.
He was preceded in death by parents Federico and Leonora Banasihan, brothers Eddie, Leonard and Joseph Banasihan.
He is survived by partner Roberta Puakea, sons Mark Banasihan of Atlanta, Georgia, Paul Banasihan, Jr. of Keaau, daughters Genevieve Silva (Peter Jr.) of Waimea, Regina Banasihan of Kekaha, Lorna Pedro-Villanueva of Mountain View, 19 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, sisters Pat Banasihan of Kekaha, Annette Meranian of Kekaha, numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A service is Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, at St. Theresa Church in Kekaha. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. followed by Mass at 10 a.m. A celebration of life luncheon to follow.

Richard Rudy Callejo
Richard Rudy Callejo, of Lihu‘e, passed away on Sept. 30, 2023, at Wilcox Medical Center at the age of 73. He was born on March 3, 1950, on Kaua‘i. He was a dispatcher and security officer.
He was preceded in death by parents Vivenicio and Esberta Callejo and sister Presentation “Lucy” Chaney.
He is survived by wife Christine Callejo, son Reed (Jessie) Pagtolingan of Anahola, daughters Elicia Callejo of Colorado, June (Matt) Lovel of Sacramento, California, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brothers Bobby Callejo of Wisconsin, Jeffrey (Sally) Callejo of Lihu‘e, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A blessing will be held at the Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe on Saturday, Dec. 2, starting at 9 a.m. A celebration of life will follow at Lydgate Comfort Station at noon. The family requests casual attire and welcomes flowers.

Herman Hajime Arbilera
Herman Hajime Arbilera, 67, passed away on Oct. 3, 2023, at The Queen’s Medical Center battling illness. He was born on Dec. 12, 1955, in Waimea, Kaua‘i. He moved to Maui ending of 2001.
He was very passionate about working as a drywall specialist for many years. Loved surfing, walking on the beach, working in the yard, and most of all spending time with loved ones BBQing and talking stories.
He is survived by his lifelong partner Wendy Fulfs, sons Hart (Cindy), Dayne (Mynalei), Hyran (Kelly), daughter Destiny (Alvin), seven granddaughters and four grandsons, sisters Gail and Vivian, numerous nieces and nephews.
A private ceremony and spreading of ashes will be held for close family and friends at Kekaha Cemetery (Park Hook Tong) on Saturday, Dec. 2, starting at 8 a.m.
