Donna Fuji (do you still have your cookbooks available?) said the ‘Ele‘ele Elementary School is hosting its annual craft fair on Saturday in the school’s cafeteria and under the shady trees … definitely worth checking out if you’re on the westside.

Don’t forget, Saturday is the Walk to end Alzheimer’s that was rescheduled from its original date in consideration of the Maui wildfires. This time, the walk takes place at The Ocean Course at Hokuala. Kaulana Finn said look for all the tents near Hole No. 18 (can they get Arnold Leong’s Fah Inn trailer in there?). Registration (if you haven’t done it online, yet) is at 7:30 a.m. with the walk starting at 8 a.m. Justin George said we’re really close to hitting Kaua‘i’s goal, so if you can’t make the walk, you can still donate through December so we can go over the top.
Lexi Jones (she was going to try the handstand walk) said she’ll be building a rock wall, and Island School is hosting the Central Pacific Bank Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation cross-country championships … wow! That’s a mouthful, but Central Pacific Bank agreed to be the title sponsor of KIF championships starting with this year’s fall season sports … OK, so who’s going to be the Central Pacific Bank KIF football champion?
Thomas Noyes said Saturday is also the Lydgate Park fall Make A Difference community workday … registration starts from 7:30 a.m., and Tommy said lunch will be served … bring your own water bottle and gloves.
And, don’t forget to have fun while stopping off at Freaky Fridays, an Aloha Dance Studio fundraiser, at Kukui Grove Center.
