Frederick David Dugay Constantino
Frederick David Dugay Constantino, 53, of Kilauea, passed away on Sept. 2, 2023, at Straub Medical Hospital. He was born on June 8, 1970, at Wilcox Medical Center. He was a housing specialist in Kaua‘i at Catholic Charities Hawai‘i.
He was preceded in death by father Francisco Subia Constantino and uncle Felix Subia Constantino.
He is survived by mother Ardelina Ramil Dugay Constantino, brothers John Charles Dugay Constantino, Christopher (Nichelle) Dugay Constantino, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Family and Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Oct. 13, at Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary in Koloa starting at 2 p.m.
A service is Saturday, Oct. 14, at St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Kilauea. Visitation begins at 8:30 a.m., Mass at 10 a.m., and burial will follow at St. Catherine Cemetery in Kapa‘a. The family requests aloha attire and welcomes flowers.
Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Lillian Yurie Kiilau
Lillian Yurie Kiilau, of Kapa‘a, passed away on Sept. 7, 2023, at the age of 94. She was born on Sept. 13, 1928. She was a rental fleet clerk.
She was preceded in death by husband Walter Masao Kiilau, children Marvin Akira Yoshida, Michael Mitsuo Yoshida, father Seichi Richard Ishiyhama, mother Haru Oshita, brothers Sasuke Ishiyama, Robert Satoshi Ishiyama, James Mitsugi Ishiyama, sisters Hatsue Nora Nishimura and Violet Setsumi Kai.
She is survived by children Andy (JoAnn) Yoshida of O‘ahu, Stephen (Sharon Sakoda) Yoshida of O‘ahu, Betty Yoshida and Carol Yoshida, sister-in-law Irene Ishiyama, six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A private service was held. The family requests no koden (monetary gifts).
Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
