The Kaua‘i Okinawan Festival flies

A large crowd enjoys Japanese bon dancing, or odori, on Friday at the Kaua‘i Veterans Center in Lihu‘e, as organizers made adjustments to the Kaua‘i Okinawan Festival schedule of performers, as some were delayed due to flight delays by an inter-island air carrier. Hundreds of Kaua‘i families and visitors flocked to the Kaua‘i Veterans Center on Friday and Saturday nights to take advantage of the activity at the Kaua‘i Okinawan Festival co-sponsored by the Kaua‘i chapter of Hui Alu and the County of Kaua‘i.
