Guadalupe Madolora Domingo
Guadalupe Madolora Domingo passed away on March 21, 2023 in Kapa‘a, at the age 102. She was born on Dec. 11, 1920, in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. She was a food packer.
She was preceded in death by husband Federico Domingo, Roman Amores Sr. and Eustaque Daguio.
She is survived by Erlinda D. Amores, Rafaela D. Daguio, Rufino (Clarita) Domingo, Adele Rosa, Ali (Marlyn) Domingo, Marcos (Imelda) Domingo, Daniel (Adoracion) Domingo, 21 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
A service is April 29, 2023 at St. Catherine Church, with visitation from 9 a.m. and Mass beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kalapaki Bay Memorial Park cemetery.
Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Rodney James Ochoa Jr.
Rodney James Ochoa Jr., born March 9, 1960 in Santa Monica, California, passed away Feb. 5, 2023 at the age of 62. He worked and lived at Island School for 28 years as the on-site property caretaker.
He was a loving husband to his wife Stacey Ochoa, the greatest father to his son Trey Ochoa, a bonus father to Aaron Jordan, Camille (Jordan) Parr and Catherine (Jordan) Posner, grandfather (Pops) to nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and is also survived by father Rodney James Ochoa Sr., stepmother Ann Ochoa and mother Lana Thomas, sisters Susan (Ochoa) Lord, Emily Thomas and brother Justin Thomas, and several his nieces and nephews.
His celebration of life is April 22 at Island School in Puhi, beginning at 11 a.m.
