Sharon Carlotta Nerpio
Sharon Carlotta Nerpio passed away on March 28, 2023 at her home in Kekaha, at the age of 71. She was born on March 8, 1952. She was a crafts person, seamstress and a full-time minister for 14 years for her God Jehovah, creator of the earth.
She is survived by husband Jeremiah Nerpio Sr., children Jeremiah Jr., Chad, Brandon, Phaedra and Levi, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial talk is at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 16, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kekaha.

Roger Soliva
Roger Soliva passed away on March 31, 2023 at Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital at the age of 66.
He was born on Oct. 22, 1956 in the Philippines. He was a welder and landscaper.
He was preceded in death by parents Jose and Adoracion Soliva and granddaughter Trixia Mitch Soliva.
He is survived by wife Delia Soliva, sons Ronald (Mary Jane) Soliva of Toronto, Michael (Cherry) Soliva of Las Vegas, and Darrel (Kristine) Soliva of Kaua‘i, five grandchildren, brothers Rolando (Marcelina) Soliva of Kaumakani, Robert (Conita) Soliva of Oakland, California and Rodolfo (Lorna) Soliva of Kekaha, sisters Virginia Parbo of Kekaha, Reynalda (Antonio) Daligcon of Hanapepe and Remedios Tadije of ‘Ele‘ele, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation with the family is Sunday, April 16, at Garden Island Mortuary from 6 to 8 p.m.
A service will be held on Monday, April 17, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo, with visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. and Mass to follow. The family requests casual attire and welcomes flowers.

Amanda Ann Keopuolani Kaleiohi
Amanda Ann Keopuolani Kaleiohi passed away on March 25, 2023, in Anahola, at the age of 80. She was born on Oct. 9, 1942, in Kahuku, O‘ahu. She was an activity coordinator for the Boys & Girls Club of Kapa‘a.
She was preceded in death by parents Archibald and Julia Hoapili, husband Edward K. Kaleiohi, brothers Robert Nui and David Nui and sister Julie Jiminez.
She is survived by sister Shirley Dandurant, children Stephanie (Robert) Reyes, Sheryl Kaleiohi, Edward H.K. Kaleiohi and Marlena K. Kaleiohi, and six grandchildren.
A service is Friday, April 28, at Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary, with visitation from 10:30 a.m. and services beginning at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery.

Rufina Adriano Bagain
Rufina Adriano Bagain passed away on March 18, 2023, in Ewa Beach, O‘ahu, at the age of 97. She was born on June 14, 1925, in Kahuku, O‘ahu.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by husband Moises Trinidad Bagain and son Robert Bagain.
She is survived by sons Samuel Adriano Bagain, Rudy Bagain and Roly Bagain, daughters Leticia Bagain Pasion and Eden Bagain Mabini, 11 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
A service is Friday, April 21, at Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. and Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Kekaha Public Cemetery.

Kermit Lee Kelling
Kermit Lee Kelling passed away on April 4, 2023, in Koloa, at the age of 80.
He was born on June 15, 1942, in Medford, Oregon. He was in the U.S. Air Force. He was in offshore construction.
He is survived by wife Marijke Kelling, sons Mike Kelling and Joe Kelling, sister Susan Junell and two grandchildren.
