But that didn’t stop Springtime revelers from lining up outside the Bunny Hut, waiting for an opportunity for a photo with the Easter Bunny during the Spring Festival hosted by Kukui Grove Center and its many tenants, and prospective tenants.
“The photos are free,” said Melissa McFerrin-Warrack of Kukui Grove Center. “People bring their own camera and get photos. The Easter Bunny is here, Sunday, and next Friday, and Saturday, from 11 a.m. each day.”
Additionally, the Easter Bunny will visit with keiki on Toddler Tuesday, starting at 11 a.m. where Kukui Grove Center is planning a Mini Egg Hunt for young keiki in the play area near the Spectrum store. The Easter Bunny will be joined by other Showtime Characters.
“The Easter Bunny is a very busy bunny. The resorts have the Bunny booked for Easter Sunday,” said Brenda Turville Biehler of Showtime Characters, the keeper of the Easter Bunny.
“But, the Bunny will be here, Friday before having to hop over to The Shops at Kukui‘ula for the meet and greet event at The Shops’ hale from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The Bunny House will be open, Saturday before Easter for more free pictures.”
On April 8, the Springtime changes to Easter as Kukui Grove Center hosts its monthly movie night with Hop! Family Movie Night starting at 6 p.m. with characters and treats to celebrate the Easter weekend.
