LIHU‘E — Due to Puhi Park and the ‘Ele‘ele Park being not available for play, the Kaua‘i Senior Softball League adjusted its first-round schedule.
Saturday’s contests will play at Isenberg Park in Lihu‘e and Peter Rayno Sr. Park in Hanama‘ulu field, with the first contests starting at 9 a.m. at both fields.
The 70s division seniors play at Isenberg Park for two games each Friday, at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Currently, Ele Makule, with its 14-6 win over the Ahukini Wharf Rats on Friday, March 17, 2023, leads that division with a 2-0 record.
In the Kaua‘i Senior Softball League 60s division, the Rookies, defending champions, lead the league with an 8-0 record following its 22-7 win over Kuku’s Aces on Saturday. The Rookies are being challenged by Barteks with a 7-1 record, and the Gents, who took two games on Saturday, with a 7-2 record.
