Mahalo, and kudos to Denise Ching of O‘ahu Publications Inc. (they’re the parent company of The Garden Island), Chris and Liesel Edis of Australia on the most current marketing suggestions and making the most of The ADvantage Club.

Moving forward, mahalo to Coach Erin Dunn (don’t forget the Special Olympics night golf event coming up, next Friday at the Ocean Course Hokuala) for donating that fancy brass bell to the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation track and field program (she actually got to sound the bell for the bell lap in the 1,500 races).
Registration starts online at HCTKauai.org starting today for the Hawai‘i Children’s Theater “Summer Stars” program that includes a morning session, and an afternoon session that will start June 12 and run to July 23. Act now since session enrollment is limited. You can check for more information by visiting HCTKauai.org.
You can also apply for your admission badge, now for the Kaua‘i Comic Con that returns to the Royal Sonesta Kaua‘i Resort, this year on April 8 (it’s the birth of the Buddha, and the day before Easter!). The last time the event was held before the pandemic, organizers had to nearly turn away participants because they surpassed the capacity of the facility … visit kauaicomicconvention.com for tickets (hurry before they sell out!) or event information that includes the appearance
of dancing superstar
Nicole Laeno, and more!
Finally, don’t forget the literary event celebrating Read Across America at Kukui Grove Center that starts at 10 a.m. Saturday featuring Sheila Bradley and USBorne Books and More hosting a book sale to benefit Kumu’s Cupboard.
