“There are a lot of people who talk about things,” Newberry said. “Dr. Chu does things. He doesn’t just talk.”
Chu, who has been doing the free dental day for Valentine’s Day for at least 12 years, said this year he was joined by Newberry so the office could handle more customers than if he worked by himself.
“We can have two rooms working instead of just one,” Chu said. “This way we can take care of more people that’s on the health care list.”
In addition to receiving free service from the dental professionals, customers were also presented with a Valentine’s Day gift bag prepared by the staff at Kaua‘i Endodontics.
