HONOLULU — The Kaua‘i High School boys basketball team earned the No. 3 seed in the Heide &Cook Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association Division II boys basketball state championships, the association announced on Saturday afternoon.
HONOLULU — The Kaua‘i High School boys basketball team earned the No. 3 seed in the Heide &Cook Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association Division II boys basketball state championships, the association announced on Saturday afternoon.
With the No. 3 seed, the Red Raiders enter the state tournament in the quarterfinals on Thursday against the Honoka‘a Dragons of the Big Island Interscholastic Federation in a 5 p.m. tipoff at Damien High School on O‘ahu.
Kohala High School of the BIIF earned the top seed, and will tip off against Kalani, also in the quarterfinals, starting at 7 p.m. Thursday at Kalani High School.
The Farrington Governors earn the No. 2 seed and will enter the quarterfinals against University High School on Thursday in a 7 p.m. matchup at Damien High School.
Seabury Hall of the Maui Interscholastic League earned the No. 4 seed, and will tip off against Hawai‘i Baptist Academy on Thursday at 5 p.m. at Kalani High School.
The boys basketballDivision II championships will contest on Saturday at the Stan Sheriff Center.
