New officers highlight KPD’s week

The Kaua‘i Police Department celebrates the retirement of four of its employees with a special pancake breakfast on Tuesday. Not in order are Lt. Christopher Calio, Emergency Services Dispatcher II Nellie Bunao, and Officers Orlino Antolin and Chito Garduque.

The Kaua‘i Police Department celebrated the promotions of two lieutenants and five sergeants last Wednesday during a special ceremony at the Kaua‘i Veterans Center in Lihu‘e. Not in order are new lieutenants Jason Overmyer and Stacy Perreira, and new sergeants Ritchael Cariaga, Andrew Muraoka, Ariel Ramos, Macy Telles and Tyler Yates.

LIHU‘E — The graduation of the 97th Police Recruit Class on Wednesday at the Kaua‘i Veterans Center capped a week of events at the Kaua‘i Police Department.
