Following are this week’s synopses of shows on KBFD TV, which televises Korean dramas with English subtitles:
Weekly Update
“Dearest Lady”
Episodes 113, 114, 115 and 116 (final) (Sun.)
Today, 6:40 p.m.: Heung-gia goes to Chairman Baek to seek help. Heung-gia walks out confidently as if she’s got other plans when Chairman Baek turns her down cold. Se-ran comes across an USB that shows her mother’s true self. Heung-gia is being attacked from all angles. Heung-gia is in real predicament. She was able to survive her away out of everything but she’s at her wit’s end. Chairman Baek and her wrongdoings make headline on TV. Now that everyone knows about her, she has nothing to fear and goes all out.
Today, 7:45 p.m.: Jean-paul leaves giving up trying to find his family. He gets a call from Bobae that she’s found her brother. Byung-gi leaves for Canada and asks Sae-rom if she wants to go with him. She tells him she can’t abandon her mother. Heung-gia lives in hiding. She runs into Ah-reum as she was packing up to leave.
“Goodbye to Goodbye”
Episodes 21 and 22 (Mon.); Episodes 23 and 24 (Tues.)
Monday, 6:45 p.m.: Sang Jin is in hot water in his job. Young Hee cries her heart out hearing Sang Jin’s news, telling him his job was her pride. Young Hee decides to divorce Sang Jin. Jung Hyo confronts her father about his past. Min Soo and Jung Hyo breaks down in tears hearing Young Hee’s confession.
Tuesday, 6:50 p.m.: Min Soo tells his father about the conscription. Ok Ja parades around the market place with Yoo Yeon in her toll. Young Hee visits Jung Hyo and Young Hee opens up to her saying how she appreciated Jung Hyo. Sang Jin is in trouble at work.
“Secret House”
Episodes 29 and 30 (Wed.) Episodes 31 and 32 (Thur.)
Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Tae-hee holds the evidence of Sook-jin’s involvement in Kyeong-seon’s attempted murder. She asks Ji-hwan to take her hand. Tae-kyung tries to kidnap Kyeong-seon again.
Chairman Nam gets suspicious about Sook-jin’s demeanor toward Tae-hee. Kyeong-seon disappears again and Ji-hwan frantically tries to find her.
Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Ji-hwan pledges to take revenge on Tae-hyung. JI-hwan agrees to marry Tae-hee to take his revenge. Joo-hong is dumbfounded when Ji-hwan takes Tae-hee’s hand and goes into Sook-jin’s. No one welcomes Ji-hwan at Chairman Nam’s residence. Joo-hong tries to persuade Ji-hwan to change his mind. Chairman Nam asks Tae-hee to the hospital.
“Uncontrollably Fondness”
Episode 7 (Fri.); Episode 8 (Sat.)
Friday, 7:50 p.m.: Junyeong tries to push No Eul away. Confused No Eul refuses to back off and stays by Junyeong’s side. Jungeun gets suspicious about Jitae and No Eul. Eunsoo starts looking into Junyeong’s condition.
Saturday, 7:50 p.m.: Yoo Na gives an interview, making her and Junyeong’s relationship a fact. Junyeong and Jitae run into each other at No Eul’s house, causing them strain. Junyeong takes Eul to meet his mother.
