NUMILA — The Military Service Organization, Navy accepted a contribution from the Kaua‘i Chamber of Commerce representing support and appreciation for the men and women in uniform at the Pacific Missile Range Facility in Mana.
The presentation by the Kaua‘i Chambers comes on the eve of the annual Navy Birthday Ball that will celebrate the Navy’s 247th Birthday and will be used by the MSO to defray some of the expenses of the annual gala.
Jaye Gayagas Youn of the Kaua‘i Chamber said the Chamber has supported the Navy on this effort for several years.
“We are most grateful to the supporting Kaua‘i Chamber members, many of whom are businesses, as these sponsors continue to support the Chamber’s donation drive to assist the Military Service Organization,” Gayagas Youn said. “This is a great way for our business community to thank the men and women in uniform at PMRF for their service.”
Kaua‘i Chamber of Commerce members supporting the donation drive include AES Distributed Energy, Aqua Engineers, Castle Resorts &Hotels, Cushnie Construction, First Hawaiian Bank, the Hilton Garden Inn, Kalaheo Dental Group, the Kaua‘i Beach Resort, Kaua‘i Coffee Company, the Kaua‘i Island Utility Cooperative, Koloa Rum Company, the Kuhio Auto Group, the Lawai Beach Resort, Matson, Princeville Utilities Company, and the Sheraton Kaua‘i Coconut Beach Resort.
