OK are you ready for the return of the in-person Cop on Top? Yes, we’re back at Walmart starting Thursday when the Kaua‘i Island Utility Cooperative lifts a team of Kaua‘i’s Finest to the roof where they will be asking for help for the island’s Special Olympics program through Saturday … great way to get to meet some of the athletes and their coaches, too.

Kaua‘i High School girls volleyball coach Shy Sadora picked up new fans after the Red Raider girls (their Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation season starts after Labor Day) got to work with other volunteers, Saturday during the ‘Ohana Fun Fair (another round of kudos for a well done event!).
And Saturday is an opportunity for putting back with the food banks (yes, there’re two of them) when the Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank (Kawai Gampon has plans on attending) is the beneficiary of an Anahola concert, and the Hawai‘i Foodbank Kaua‘i (who is their latest team member?) is participating in a statewide food collection day at many locations around the island…how much food is a million meals?
