PRINCEVILLE — A right-lane closure on Kuhio Highway is possible in either direction between mile markers 2 and 4, Ohiki Road and Kumu Road, Monday through Friday, June 25 to July 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for cutting grass and trees.
Kilauea
• A right-lane closure of Kuhio Highway is possible in either direction between mile markers 22 and 27, Kaluamakua Place and Kapaka Street, Monday through Wednesday, June 27 to 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for guardrail repair;
Kapa‘a
• A single-lane closure of Kuhio Highway is possible in either direction between mile markers 9.8 and 14, vicinity of Kapoli Street and Mailihuna Road, starting today at 7 p.m. and going through the morning of Friday, July 1, 24 hours a day, for pavement-preservation work;
• The county Department of Public Works and Grace Pacific LLC announced that portions of Kawaihau Road will be closed from Monday through Friday, June 27 to July 1, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Additionally, the intersection of Mailihuna Road, Hau‘a‘ala Road, and Kawaihau Road will experience temporary traffic shifts. • A two-lane closure of Kuhio Highway is possible in either direction between mile markers 5.6 and 6.7, Leho Drive and the Kapa‘a bypass road, Monday through Friday, June 27 to July 1, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for road widening;
• A right-lane closure on Kuamo‘o Road is possible in either direction, between mile markers 2 and 6, Lilia Place and Uhau‘iole Stream, Monday through Friday, June 27 to July 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for tree and grass cutting and shoulder repair;
Kalaheo
• The DPW and contractor Arroyo’s Plumbing LLC announced that a portion of Waha Road will be closed Tuesday through Friday, June 28 to July 1, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather-permitting, for water-meter-installation work. • Portions of Pu‘u Road in Kalaheo will be closed Monday, June 27, through July 21, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather-permitting, for road-resurfacing work. From today to Friday, July 1, the closure is from 2121 Pu‘u Road to Lolo Road. More closures are planned in July.
