ANAHOLA — The Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank will be hosting a food distribution for 300 families starting at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Anahola Clubhouse.
Produce, fresh fruits, hamburger, hot dogs, canned goods and rice will be available.
No appointments are necessary.
Kelvin Moniz, KIFB executive director, said the distribution needs to be completed early because the KIFB has a food drive in conjunction with the annual Father’s Day Car Show with Harvey Maeda and the Kaua‘i Classic Cars at the Kukui Grove Center, UPS Store parking lot, starting at 10 a.m.
The annual car show returns following a short break due to the pandemic. It will feature prizes, music, and a lot of cars.
