Drs. Monty Downs and Roger Netzer are allowed no face masks “just for the picture” Thursday during a short reception at Wilcox Medical Center celebrating the doctors’ retirement following 50 years of service to Kaua‘i’s people.

Rick Rasay, Kaua‘i High School Class of 1975, has been doing audio for Kaua‘i High School graduations (he also does mobile DJ duty for Harvey Maeda and the Kaua‘i Classic Car cruises!) for nearly a quarter of a century. He said he started doing audio in 2000 for his daughter’s graduation.

Congratulations to all the public high school graduates! There’re 648 of you who celebrated in-person with family and friends. (“bring your umbrellas in case it rains,” said the Kaua‘i High School senior advisor during practice Friday).
