Kudos to Mark Perriello, Liane Pestrella (Robbie Melton, coming off pulling off the Zonta Club of Kaua‘i Red Carpet Gala Wednesday night, got help from Jaye Gayagas Youn and Barbara Gusman of the Sheraton Kaua‘i Coconut Beach in helping Liane) on hosting all those people to the Eighth annual talk story with Hawaiian Airlines CEO Peter Ingram at the Kaua‘i Beach Resort near Hanama‘ulu.

This was the first in-person event in more than a year, and a lot of people were happy to be networking again.
Happy birthday, Ernie Domingo, who celebrated his 80th birthday Thursday. Ernie is a player with the Ahukini WharFrats (how did Peter Rayno manage to get off work? Paul Curtis dropped in between his bus runs to see what was going down!), who tangled with Ronnie Matsumura (he’s not 80 yet!) during the opening of the 70s age group of Kaua‘i Senior Softball games at Isenberg Park in Lihu‘e.
Eric Sakazaki had one of them Cadillac of box lunches, and coach Wes Kaui got to share some of that Po’s Kitchen cone sushi (gotta go early to get them before they sell out).
Kudos to John Patt and all those coaches who got the new division of the Kaua‘i Senior Softball league off the ground!
OK, gotta get ready for Malasada Tuesday, and the Ashes to Go ministry on Wednesday. Are you ready?
