Debbie will partner with Koko Kaneali‘i for “Kiu Au Me Ko‘u Maka Li‘ili‘i” for a brief appearance (only three days left counting today) at the KSA gallery from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Julie Kaneali‘i (no more makahiki games this year) said Koko even found his “Best in Show” original and will have it available along with Debbie’s flora and fauna pieces motivated by Limahuli Gardens in Hanalei.
This is perfect for checking out Megaformer Kaua‘i (Melissa Springer and her crew of instructors might be working out), which is getting ready for its grand opening Feb. 7 across the KSA gallery.
Kudos to Kevin Gusman on the Kapa‘a junior varsity girls soccer team on their latest 11-0 win Thursday night. A double hat trick from Shyloh McCann definitely puts a smile on Coach Bobbie Rapozo. And the other Kevin, Coach Kevin Devitt, has the Santa look after 35 years of not being able to look like Santa. Coach Matt Gonsalves said the COVID-19 adds the designer look.
More kudos to Kaulana Mossman and her Kaua‘i Adult Day Health (they’re still at COVID-19 limited attendance) angels for getting the 39th annual (yep, it started long before COVID) awards so all the kupuna can feel like royalty for their individual contributions to help everyone be resilient during these challenging times.
