The Red Raider men, battling to a 2-2 stalemate against Kapa‘a on Saturday, marked first when Jesse Hoff found the net in the 25th minute for the 1-0 Kaua‘i bulge at the break.
Tyler Everett, who scored the two goals against Kapa‘a Saturday, upped the ante, 2-0 when he found the net in the 46th minute.
Facing the 0-2 deficit, the Voyagers made its move when Cody Manibog found the folds at the 53rd minute. Sawyer Rogoff was in the right place at the right time in the 73rd minute when he equalized the match with his goal that went past the Kaua‘i goalkeeper, who came out of the box.
A kick from a field infraction by Voyager William Buford sealed the deal at 78th minute, leaving the Raiders little time to regroup.
The Voyagers’ girls varsity soccer squad hosts Kaua‘i High Wednesday at the Island School field starting at 4 p.m.
The Red Raiders will travel to Hanapepe Stadium Saturday to face the Waimea High teams, with the junior varsity game starting at 10 a.m., the varsity girls kicking off at 11:45 a.m., and the varsity boys starting at 1:45 p.m.
Island School will visit Kapa‘a High be at the Mayor Brian J. Baptiste Sports Complex Saturday, with the varsity boys starting at 2 p.m. followed by the varsity girls at 4 p.m.
