(they were partnering with the Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank at the food distribution at the Kaua‘i Veterans Center, too!) is one of the new vendors at the Puhi Park Saturday market along with the Toys for Tots (Salvation Army Advisory Board member Janice Bond says they can really use “Infants” and “Toddlers” items!) collection site that will be at the park until the Dec. 3 cutoff.

Dr. Richard Goodale was pretty occupied with the mobile vaccine clinic that set-up at the Grove Farm Market this Saturday, and is that why Cathy Richardson came to visit after helping with the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation cross country championships?
Kumu Hula Leina‘ala Pavao Jardin had her Halau Ka Lei Mokihana O Leina‘ala helping with the Hawai‘i Foodbank Kaua‘i (they even made it to the Downtown Lihu‘e Night Market with the rubber duckie thingie) with Patti Ornellas of the Kaua‘i Visitors Bureau, Donna Lynn Loo of Kaua‘i RSVP, and more like Crystal Caday-Bargayo (she had the EK Lions face mask!) and Angel Acorda who were helping at the KIFB distribution, too.
Kudos to Community Volunteer Keri Souza (she’s a teacher at Keoniula Elementary School on O‘ahu) who came to help distribute those free Roger Hall posters. They have more at the public libraries starting this Monday. And don’t forget to check out the Pau Hana Market at the Kukui Grove Center in Lihu‘e. It was voted the best farmers market around!
