LIHU‘E — Facility reservations for winter and spring sports leagues are now available through Nov. 15, according to the county’s Department of Parks and Recreation.
All sports leagues utilizing County parks from Jan. 1 to April 15, 2022, must submit their online application before the Nov. 15 deadline.
Organizers may apply by visiting https://www.kauai.gov/Government/DepartmentsAgencies/Parks-Recreation/Permitting/Sports-Leagues or visiting www.kauai.gov/parks and clicking on “Permitting.”
Any league applications received after the deadline must be submitted and considered complete no later than 30 days before the first event (e.g., practice).
As organized team sports are currently open on Kaua‘i, the County of Kaua‘i’s Department of Parks and Recreation requires all applicants to submit a COVID-19 health and safety plan as part of the permit application.
Leagues must submit a new application to obtain a permit for each individual scheduled season.
