The online bid site is a complete disgrace. Almost like it was specifically designed.to deter bidders. No description. No thumbnail to show what tbe item is – no ability to view in person. Only people who could possibly bid knowledgeably are County employees and friends in the know. Hope the Mayor and Council look into this sham auction.
I cannot agree more with MisterM… He has summed it up very well.. How can anyone have an online auction with no description, no thumbnail, and no option to view..
We’re not in the 50’s any longer, this looks like a formality so that only certain people are able to bid knowledgeably…
This is not appropriate, or professional, but certainly appears to be criminal…
It appears that an investigation by an outside entity is what is needed here….
Must be one of those highly qualified essential county employees. My 8 yo child could have taken better pictures, provided an accurate description, and had it more organized in one day than this jabroni
Understanding this is Kauai, this is hilariously documented and one must realize someone got paid to complete this task. County should have just used Craigslist or Facebook market place.
