HONOLULU — Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases, all Hawai‘i State Public Library branches will be closed to the public on Wednesdays beginning August 18.
These weekly closures are temporary as our state works through the high infection rates of the Delta variant.
These closures will affect state libraries in Hanapepe, Kapa‘a, Koloa, Lihu‘e, Princeville and Waimea on Kaua‘i.
The HSPLS digital doors are always open at librarieshawaii.org. With just a library card you can download ebooks, stream movies, learn a language and more.
For more information visit librarieshawaii.org or call your local library.
So sad they are closing on Wednesday- the very day children get out of school early..
Will this affect borrowing books like at Hanapepe library?
And this makes sense how? Delta only transmits on Wednesday, the rest of the week is AOK?
It doesn’t make any sense. Hawaii descends further and further into madness and irrationality
Either that or buy a bigger iPhone to type on.
