Thomas Masaru Kurosaki
Thomas Masaru Kurosaki, 91, of Lihu‘e, passed away at home on June 6, 2021. He was born in Ahukini on Aug. 24, 1929.
He was preceded in death by parents Tokiji and Tsuya Kurosaki and five siblings.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held. The family requests no koden (monetary gifts).
Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
Troy William Martin
Troy William Martin, of ‘Ele‘ele, passed away on May 23, 2021, at his home, at the age of 55.
Born in Reno, Nevada on June 1, 1965, he was the president of Martin Steel Constructors, Inc. and a beloved member of his community.
He was preceded in death by mother Marjorie Jean Martin and father Harold Lowell Martin.
He is survived by life partner Malia Kali, son Chance Martin, stepchildren Malisha and Kepa Kali and Brilynn and Bridan Imaoka, brothers Todd and Chris Martin, and numerous family members and friends.
A drive-by celebration of life is Saturday, July 10, at the Hanapepe Stadium tennis courts, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Norman Mitsuo Horita
Norman Mitsuo Horita passed away on June 10, 2021, at the age of 77, in Ewa Beach, O‘ahu.
He was born on April 20, 1944 in Lihu‘e. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a general contractor.
He was preceded in death by wife Diana Horita.
He is survived by sons Edmund Horita of Lawa‘i, Norlan (Selene) Horita of Ewa Beach, Henrick (Chrissy) Horita of Denver, daughter Dana (Mike) Horita of Seattle, nine grandchildren, brothers, Edwin Horita of Lawa‘i and Gilbert (Gail) Horita of Kailua, sisters Sharyn (Elliot) Matsuoka of Torrance, California, Noreen (Harold) Tavares of Lihu‘e and Shayne (Jett) Tokita of ‘Oma‘o, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private service will be held. The family requests no koden (monetary gifts).
