‘ELE‘ELE — Basilio Fuertes and his mentor Carmila Udarbe, a soon-to-be fifth grade student at the ‘Ele‘ele Elementary School, will have seedlings available, Saturday from 8 a.m. while supplies last, at the ‘Ele‘ele Shopping Center.
‘ELE‘ELE — Basilio Fuertes and his mentor Carmila Udarbe, a soon-to-be fifth grade student at the ‘Ele‘ele Elementary School, will have seedlings available, Saturday from 8 a.m. while supplies last, at the ‘Ele‘ele Shopping Center.
“We have both the green, and the Nitta Variety eggplant,” Fuertes said in an email notification. “We also have both the Anuenue, and the Manoa University of Hawai‘i lettuce, pumpkin, both the Hawaiian and Japanese varieties of hot peppers, Japanese cucumber, Filipino long beans, tuqui, or Filipino yams, and sequa, or ridge squash.”
Wow that is so great…. Yea Eleele School and Mr. Fuertes…. great avenue to encourage families to grow the food they really like!!!
