Kudos to Ashton Varner and the County Housing Agency on coordinating the outreach services for the Shelter In Place residents at the Salt Pond Beach Park. The effort was overlapped by the Kaua‘i Fire Department conducting water lifesaving exercises, and county Department of Parks &Recreation worker Simplicia Tugade making sure the beach was clean before the visitors arrived.
