Use some common sense
Hawaii spends millions encouraging visitors to come here — and we don’t tell them about access to the Ke’e beach parking so they get turned away! Come on, County!!
Create a comprehensive flyer on parking/fees requirements, get 10,000 printed up and put one on the drivers seat of every rental car that goes out.

Surprising praise for Florida
In his most recent Guest Editorial, Mr. Steve Yoder praised the COVID-19 management of both Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem. That praise might be surprising to the grieving families of the 1,981 residents of South Dakota who died from the disease. The grieving families of the 35,730 dead Floridians may feel equally surprised. But no matter – Republicans can fail in the most spectacular possible manner (see Donald Trump) and Mr. Yoder still slathers the failed with praise. It’s disgusting.
One only has to read Mr. Yoder’s editorial to see why the Republican party has all but disappeared in Hawai’i.
