LIHUE — Healthgo Market is holding an island wide vegan taro burger recipe contest, with tasting set for March 10th.
The first place winner will get $100 and second place winner $50.
The winning recipes may also be used as Healthgo Markets’ grab and go taro burger.
The burger must include taro and all ingredients should be vegan, sorry no imitation meats like beyond meat or soy based vegan meat substitutes. The burger may be delivered frozen and should at least be kept cool in a cooler with icepack for delivery. No bread, buns or condiments.
Please deliver the burger with recipe included to Healthgo Market at 3486 Rice St. in Lihue, across from Harbor Mall on March 6-9 during normal business hours Tasting will happen on Wednesday, March 10.
Entries must include contact information in a separate envelope, as contact info will only be viewed after the tasting.
